What are my options for sharing an application? 

The Share feature will send an email with an access link for your colleague or client to view the completed application through our secure website. You have the option to share just the application, share the full application and reports, and whether or not to share decisioning tools (Approve/Reject) with the recipient. 

How to access the Share Feature

Click on the paper airplane icon on the application you want to share in your Applications dashboard. 

Next, complete the information and select the permissions for the recipient. Once completed, click the Send button and we will send an email to the recipient letting them know you have shared an application with them!

Once the recipient clicks to view the application, they will receive a welcome message and instructions on how to view the submitted application and reports (if included.) If you've given them permissions to Approve or Reject the applicant, we'll walk them through that, too!

You will see that you can add multiple recipients. If there is more than one owner, be sure to add both! 

Please note that once an application is shared, any additional updates or changes are live to all viewers. If you're still waiting for a report to complete processing, you can go ahead and share the application and reports and the sharee will see the reports as soon as they update! 

How does this help me? 

Using the Share tool sends a secure link to view the application via our website. Say goodbye to password-protected PDFs and insecure email practices. Certainly no need to print to paper ;) 

Given the options, you might decide not to share reports, or decisioning tools. 

As an agent or representative, removing access to Approve/Reject gives you more control over the decisioning process and the opportunity to discuss an application with your client before a final decision is made. However, offering the client access to the feature can make it faster to close a deal!
